Returns Policy and Procedure
If your return is in regard to a 'warranty' please read that process first here.
As Madd Gear offers a growing range of product, often the return procedure is not a one size fits all. It is important to get in touch with us first so we can instruct you on how best to handle the return or exchange. If your purchase was more than 14 days prior to your request to return, we cannot accept the return.
All returned products must be:
- In as new condition.
- All products must be un-used, un-opened, and in their original undamaged packaging.
- Madd Gear will not be liable for any product lost or damaged during the return process.
- Madd Gear will not be held liable for any returns done without the proper authorisation. Any product that has been unpacked, built, altered, modified or damaged in any way will not be eligible for return - including a refund or option for exchange.
What is the procedure to arrange my return?
Please contact us at ausupport@maddgear.com to arrange. You will need to let us know:
• Your Name
• Your Address
• Your Contact Mobile or Best Phone Number:
• Your Order Number
• Product Name
• Describe the Fault or Issue with your product; or say if you have “Changed Your Mind”
• Pictures / short video.
We will advise you at this point on the next steps.
I have authorisation, what's next?
You will be required to return the product to us at your cost. You will receive an email with the instructions on where this needs to be returned to.
Products that are damaged, worn, have been built, or show signs of use and/or installation (parts), will be deemed as being returned in an unsalable state and your return will not be accepted. If you would like the product returned to you, you will be required to pay for the return shipping.
Can I bring to your warehouse to return?
No sorry, returns must be couriered or posted back, once approval as per the above process is given.
Will there be a restocking fee?
There will be a restocking fee of up to 20%.
When will I get my refund or exchange?
Once we receive your returned item we will contact you within 5 working days and arrange the exchange.
If it's a refund, this will be processed within 5-working days (less the original courier cost and the restocking fee). The refund will be processed back onto the original card used for payment.
I received the wrong item - how does that get returned?
We are human and sometimes we may send you the wrong product or the wrong colour of an item. We are super sorry about that. If this happens please contact us on email with your Name, address, Order Number, contact number and issue; and we will arrange to send a replacement and arrange to get the incorrect item back from you. Again we are super sorry if this happens.
Order Cancellation
We are super-fast at picking and sending out our orders, but if you have placed an order and need to cancel it you need to send us an email straight away to and we will do our absolute best to stop it. However, if it's already on its way to you, you will need to wait to receive the item, then you will need to organise the return of the item at your own cost.
